Are your products suitable for all hair types?
Yes. The RYSE range is designed to work across all hair types, including natural, relaxed, colour-treated, and fine hair.
What does "anhydrous powder treatment" mean?
Our masques are waterless formulas in powder form. You activate them by mixing with water before use — ensuring maximum potency, a longer shelf life, and no need for preservatives.
Customising Your Treatment
How do I prepare my masque?
Start by blooming the powder first — this is key to activating the formula. Add your warm water or warm aloe vera juice to the powder and mix until fully combined. Allow it to bloom for a moment before adding any additional ingredients. This ensures the actives are properly activated before you customise further.
Can I customise my masque?
Absolutely — and we encourage it. Once your masque has bloomed, you can tailor it to your hair's specific needs with the following additions:
- Aloe vera juice — for added moisture and scalp soothing (also great as your blooming liquid)
- Coconut milk — for deep hydration and softness
- Oils (e.g. castor, jojoba, argan) — for shine, sealing, and scalp nourishment
- Egg — for a protein boost to strengthen and repair
- Avocado — for intense moisture and extra protein
Always use warm liquids when mixing — this helps the powder bloom evenly and ensures a smooth, consistent texture.
How much should I mix at once?
We recommend mixing only the quantity you need for each application. Our masques are a concentrated formula, so a little goes a long way — mix the right amount for your hair length and thickness to avoid waste.
How should I store any leftover mixture?
Once mixed, any leftover treatment should be stored in the refrigerator and used within 72 hours. Do not store mixed product at room temperature.

Returns & Refunds
What is your returns policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase for unopened items. Please email us at support@jovantie.com to arrange a return.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@jovantie.com with a photo of the item and we'll resolve it promptly.
